‘One Piece Plan’ encourages everyone to pick up litter from beaches and waterways.

You can join the movement to clean up our beautiful beaches, waterways, and parks without having to join a club or make a donation. All you have to do is pick up one piece of trash.

Last year, the Center documented over 11,900 nests on that stretch of beach. That’s about one nest every four feet, and comprises approximately five percent of the world’s total loggerhead sea turtle nests, according to the Center.
