Terms and Conditions for Singer Island Rentals LLC
Renter
For legal and accounting purposes, the person placing the reservation must be the same as the credit/debit card holder. This person is considered to be the Guest. All other persons involved with the rental are considered to be the Guest's invitees, and all discussion regarding reservation, cancelation, and damage policies will be discussed with the Guest, not the Guest's invitees. The Guest understands that Streamline Getaways rents to responsible adults over the age of 21 ONLY. Occupants are limited to 6 persons for a 2/2 and 4 persons for a 1/1 Unit. Renter will be a guest of the Homeowner and can use room service, the pools, have free access to the fitness center, free pools towels, etc. Please note that use of the spa, valet parking, room service (for actual ordered items) and in room internet will occur charges from Marriott which are the Renter’s obligation to pay. The Unit is equipped with a kitchen and full size baths with separate tub and shower, and a washer and dryer. The property is furnished and includes linens, hairdryer, towels, furniture, furnishings, appliances, dishes, flatware and a washer/dryer. You can pick up electronic keys for the unit from the front desk reception as you would with any like resort hotel. Please pick up extra toiletries, etc. if you choose not to have occasional maid service, for which there is an additional fee.
Term of the Lease
The lease begins at 4:00 p.m. on the “Check-in Date” and ends at 11:00 a.m. on your “Checkout Date”. We have to enforce a minimum charge of $125 or up to double the daily rent at the option of Singer Island Rentals if you do not honor the check-out time due to the need to prepare the unit for the next guest. Please adhere to these times unless an alternative time is arranged. We have many same day check-ins and check-outs. There shall be no assignment or subletting of the Unit without the prior written consent of the Rental Agent.
Rental Rules
Renter agrees to abide by the Rental Rules as explained below at all times while at the property and shall cause all members of the rental party and anyone else Renter permits on the property to abide by the following rules at while at the property. Renter agrees to try to leave the condominium in the same condition it was found in.
Access
Renter shall allow the Homeowner, the Rental Agent and Hotel employees’ access to the property for purposes of undertaking required repair, maintenance and inspections, as well as for emergency purposes. Access for other than requested maintenance by Renter or for emergency purposes shall be upon 24 hours’ notice to Renter, such notice to be provided by email, text, or phone.
Reservation Deposit/ Cancelation Policy
A non-refundable reservation amount 50% of the rental amount is due at time of reservation. Non-refundable balance is due at least 30 days in advance of stay. In the event of cancelation Owner/Agent will return amount paid if the unit is re-rented, less any losses. Owner/Agent will make a reasonable effort to re-rent unit. Please consider reviewing and taking rental insurance offered by CSA Travel Protection if you have concerns. As a courtesy, the renter can contact the Rental Agent directly up to 24 hours after the booking is processed to add Vacation Rental Insurance to their reservation.
Rental Rate
Payment in full of rental fee following fees shall be due within 30 days of the Check-in Date. One-half (1/2) of Rental Fee due at the time of reservation remaining One-Half (1/2) of Rental Fee due 30 days in advance of Check-In Date.
Rental Cancelation insurance: Is optional and provided by CSA.
Cleaning Fee
One (1) end of stay cleaning included in Rental Fee, other cleanings offered a-la-carte rate of at $75.00 (without linen change) and $100.00 (with linen change) per day.
Damage Protection: A fee of $59 is charged with every reservation for damage protection to $750. Damage above that amount will be charged to your credit card.
Payment:
Renter can make payments by debt or credit card.
Housekeeping and Maintenance
Please email a detailed description listing your name, unit, and reservation number to stay@singerislandrentals.us. The owner’s maintenance team will be notified and they will reach out to schedule a service call. For emergencies contact (561) 223-4585 and please leave a message with a detailed description listing your name, unit, and reservation number. If there is a maintenance problem with the Unit the Rental Agent will make every effort to remedy the situation but cannot be held responsible for any damages or loss of use arising from such issues.
Garbage
Please call Housekeeping at the Resort to pick up trash bags for removal from your unit. They will come to your unit to pick up trash bags. Extra bags are under the sink.
Additional Rental Rules and Instructions/Indemnity/Warranties
Smoking in the Unit is NOT permitted. Pets are NOT allowed. Please be respectful of the next guest and be sure to check out by 11 am and check in around 4 pm so the condo can be properly cleaned by housekeeping upon your arrival as the Unit is larger than a hotel room and takes time to prepare for your stay. No persons other than Renters listed above may stay overnight in the Unit. Any visiting guests of the Renter are assume all risk and any claims for bodily injury or property damage by the guests of Renter shall be the sole responsibility of the Renter as Renter, in consideration of the sum of $10 and other good and valuable consideration hereby agrees indemnifies and holds harmless Owner, Singer Island Rentals LLC, Hotel Lot Operator/Owner, Marriott, and their respective officers, directors, agents and employees from and against any and all claims, both in law and in equity, related to or arising from the Renter’s use and occupancy of the Unit and the amenities associated therewith. The Renter agrees to this agreement upon payment. The Renter agrees that no one, including Rental Agent, has made or will make any implied or express warranty or representation regarding the Unit or the condition of the Unit or your satisfaction with your stay. The Unit is privately owned and parties agree the Owner/Agents Hotel Lot Owner/Operator and Marriott are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, to persons or property or other claims that occur while Renter is on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowner and Rental Agent are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the Renter, who is solely responsible for securing Renter’s own property.
Please keep the Unit and all furnishings in good order and leave the Unit as clean as possible. Linens and bath towels are included in the Unit and belong with the Unit so please do not remove towels from units. Large towels are available poolside for no charge. Please replace any damaged items for the benefit of the next guest- again, this is the property of the Homeowner. Your help is appreciated so please place any used towels in washer on the way out.
If a catastrophe (hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, fire, or wild fire etc.) or any situation simply beyond our control impairs the vacation rental, the Homeowner and Rental Agent are not responsible for finding alternate lodging for the renter or for the renter’s financial losses related to transportation or alternate lodging. There will be no refunds or credits for emergency evacuations or events at your non refundable booking rate. Therefore, we suggest you consider Travel Protection Insurance to secure your vacation investment and eliminate your financial risk. There will be no refunds of any kind for evacuations. Vacation Rental Insurance reimburses for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation investment and force you to incur unplanned expenses. Vacation Rental Insurance can be added or decline at the time of booking. As a courtesy, the renter can contact the Rental Agent directly up to 24 hours after the booking is processed to add Vacation Rental Insurance to their reservation. We strongly recommend you purchase this valuable protection. If declined, you acknowledge you have read and understand our non-refundable cancellation policy and choose not to purchase Vacation Rental Insurance on behalf of all occupants. To protect against cancellations caused by certain unforeseen events, such as illness, death, natural disasters, etc., we recommend that guests purchase trip cancellation and Interruption Protection insurance to assure refund of deposits paid and reimbursement of other vacation payments. Please read all policies for limits.
